Anderson Family Reef - 1200 Gallon System

Thats awesome I have to tie my sock around entire Pvc. I think you should patent this :spin1: keep up the good work

I appreciate your support buddy! I'm always tinkering around with stuff! Glad you liked it. It was fun to build and to have work out so well!

Love the thread (been a big fan since 2008) and this just made my night. Snowflake made it into your display and is loving life - why even bother attempting to take him out? I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to remove him but I am sure you will create a special Eel trap. Personally I've lost 2 eels from jumping (even with covers) so if he made it in - he can definately make it out in ways you'd never imagine possible. But you do have a larger aquarium so he might just stay put

Ashish - Thank you! This hobby just gets better and better with time! ;-) So far I kind of like the eel in there! He looks so cool working his way in and out of the corals and rocks! Good idea on the eel trap! If he doesn't behave I will for sure build one! Ill keep you posted on the eel...fed him some scallops this weekend and he loved them...

Thanks for reaching out buddy!

I wouldn't say failed... buddy your tank looks great!!

I guess I am just being hard on myself. Dealing with a build this large I knew it was going to be easy but didn't put anything on paper first, just had it planned in my head. That's why I went through your thread again as a reference to see what i did wrong. Seems I did everything OK, just out of order.

No need to be hard on yourself buddy because you are rocking it!!! I think of things in my head then put them on paper with measurements then go to work on them! I still have some do overs! I think we all do! Just keep on pressing forward! Let me know if I can help you with anything!!! ;-)
