anemon advice

I bought a anemon yesterday and after about five hours it seems to have shrunk half in size. Has stayed the same since. is it dieing? Should i worry and the perametering in my tank are good and no lack of lighting.

Give it a couple days.. when it finds the spot it likes it will open up.. have you fed it?

Just let it do its thing. If it starts discintegrating or puking up a lot of filament material then take it out of the tank. Otherwise it could take a week or so to get settled in and happy again. I wouldnt feed it until it looks good again.

thanks ill see what happens, now it has completly defalted and hasnt moved but will see

That anemone is a condylactis. They are known to wander around alot. If you haven't already, be sure and put screen or filter sponge on the intakes, it would be a mess if the anemone were sucked into powerhead, etc.
