Anemone 911

I got an Sebae anemone last night. It's my 1st one so I'm pretty neurotic about it. I was checking him over this morning and in the fish store he attacked himself to an emerald crab or the crab bit him and didn't let go.
I haven't gotten to forceful yet but they are pretty attacked. I don't know who has who or if the crab is even alive. The crab is about an 1/8 the size of the base of the anemone so I don't think it could release itself if it is even alive.
Any thoughts?

Crab came off last night, it was dead, I have no idea how.

the crab probably died of stress or asphyxiation.
