However, I wonder what the best way to acclimate would be, for an anemone shipped with little or almost no water?
The tank has been up and running for about 6 months, just a few small fish in it, 65gal, RR, dripping was what I intended to do. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't some big secret I was missing out on! :idea:
One tip that a lot of newbies don't know is that anemones do water changes. One day, the anemone will be happy and bubbly. Then the next, they look completely deflated and on the verge of death. Its a normal process, so as long as the nem is still attached to the rock/sandbed, just let it do its thing and don't freak out.
Don't be surprised if your nem does this once he gets into your tank.
