Anemone advice for a new keeper

As long as they are not smelly, any seafood would be fine. I find that mine does not like shell fish, even living fresh, other than scallops.
They seem to love scallops. It seem to me scallops are very easy for them to digest.

Thank you so much for all your advice. I tried mysis and shrimp and prawn but it spat it all out so I tried half a mussel again and it took it. My clowns have also been taking it flake food which seems to be eaten. Seems that he has unusual taste!

He's looking much healthier now and has regained his stickyness. I have the ph and salinity back up and the extra light on him for some of the day so i'm obviously not doing too badly.

Unfortunately I came home to a little surprise today. My wife had bought me a present from the lfs which was floating in a bag in the sump, a tiger cowrie! Needless to say he'll be living in the sump until we can get back to the lfs. The manager at the lfs told my wife that it only ate algae, grr!

Best of luck with the magnifica. Pics would be great to keep track of progress. Sounds like a suggestion to everyone not to buy things for your tank would serve you well.

It doesn't help that the local lfs will sell anything to anyone with no questions! My wife thought she was being helpful and made sure with the manager that it would be ok for the tank. I'm not sure if the manager lied or just plain didn't know! She has already agreed she won't buy anything else with out asking me!
