anemone and flat worm exit

I want to transfer our anemones into a larger tank finally! However, our current tank does have little red flat worms.

I want to get rid of them before the move, so are there any issues or a better way?

My plan is to do some water changes on the smaller tank for a couple months and put the removed water into the new tank, so i do not have to wait for a new cycle!

I would not use flatworm exit in any tank containing an anemone. Flatworms can be controlled or eliminated by maintaining an optimum tank environment with high flow and by using natural predators.

I don't know what the issues are with FWE, but I have used it twice in the tank with 2 RBTA's. Didn't seem to affect them adversely a bit. I had a bad outbreak of the red critters, not red bugs, but the ones that will be on sand and rocks.
