My Brother In Law is in the Military and away from home. I got a call from his wife tonight who is taxed with trying to take care of his 150. She awoke this morning to Their large BTA Stuck in a Power head, She turned off the Phycho Power head and allowed the Anemone to back out on its own and while it did back out she discribe a Anemone that has lost at least a third of its original mass. She would like to know if there is a possibility it can survive this encounter. Since I am not sure I am hoping someone here can offer some advice. This Anemone was amazing and I'm hoping there is some hope for it. Please let me know what we can do.

Thanks in Advance,

Tazz

i would keep an eye on it.
bta is very hardy. give it time.
i cut mine in half. about 1 hour later they comes out and open up again

They can shrink up pretty small when stressed, it may not be that bad.
I've heard many stories of nems sucked into powerheads, and many do make it.
You need to do something to block it from that powerhead though.
Maybe a quick clip?
I also have a couple rocks placed around inlets, just be careful to not restrict flow.
Good luck
