Anemone bud?

I found what looks like a mini-anem in my tank. It only has about ten little fingers on it an is about 1/2" in diameter. What are the chances of these little things surviving? My RBTA split a couple of weeks ago...is this just a small piece of DNA that wandered off and is now growing?

"a small piece of DNA that wandered off and is now growing?"

huh?

Maybe pics could be helpful in identifying. Some anemones are small, like aiptasia or majano. I doubt a RBTA clone would be that small, but pics should clear up things, hopefully.

I got better visual confirmation today! It is indeed a very tiny anemone. Little foot visible, tiny bubble tips.....now I will just wait, pray and see if it can grow into an adult.

Majano's have bubble tips too.. just fyi.

+1. I've seen many majanos that look pretty similar to tiny BTAs.

My RBTA started as little tiny bud about the size of a nickle. It's now easily 12" across and a beauty. Make sure what it is before you remove it - it may be something good.
