Can I have a long tentacle anemone and a RBTA in the same tank. I am looking to get the RBTA for the tank.

Here is my long tentacle anemone with pink tips.

Your tank is plenty big. Just place it on the opposite side of the tank. It will more than likely wander around till it finds a spot it likes so keep a close eye on it.

I'm a little confused. The anemone you have pictured is an E. quadricolor (or BTA). Are you saying you want to get ANOTHER BTA? Or you want to get a M. doreensis (long tentacle anemone).

+3 on e. quadricolor. Even though they're called "bubble tips", not many have bubbled tips. LTA are usually sand-dwelling anemones.

yeah, deff. a bubble tip, one of the ones i have right now looks similar to that at times, the bubbles dont get very big on it when it does bubble

Getting back to your question, different types of BTA's in the same aquarium is usually not a problem - even if they touch each other.

If you have a BTA and an LTA in the same aquarium, it is also usually not a problem, unless the anemones physically touch, in which case they will sting each other.

Be careful if you have too many anemones of different species in too small a body of water. They can release biological warfare type chemicals into the water to fight off competitors. If you have a tank that is loaded with BTA's, for example, and add a carpet anemone to it, the carpet may not do well.
