Anemone Expelling Waste Pictures

This kind of reminded me of my days or should I say nights back in college.

Funny thing is that my yellow tang seems to enjoy it as a food source.

I only feed krill, is that okay?

I think krill is fine as a part of its diet. I subscribe to the variety theory in feeding for not only the anemone but fish and coral too.

The anemone gets krill, chopped silversides, mysis shrimp and whatever it catches when the fish and coral gets fed. I only spot feed the anemone about twice a week and alternate what I feed. The rest of the time it is on its own to capture what is fed to the tank.

What coarl do you feed the anemone? Was unaware that corals were a food source.

I didn't mean that the anemone gets fed coral. The anemone catches food when I feed the fish and coral in the tank.

Hi Aliie!!!

My anemone really likes clams, or squid as well. I buy the prosalt brand. I also soak the food in Selcon, or VitaChem.

Hi Petoonia~ I can't even hide out for a week or so without you guys finding me! LOL.

I use the Zooplex as a food soak and I'm almost out. I may try a new one and see if the results are better. I'll see if the store has any kind of small mix of these things or small portions and see what the critter likes. Thanks!
