Anemone feeding after introduction

Just introduced a GBTA and a RBTA to my system and I want to know how long I should wait before I feed the anemones. Also, what do I feed them and how often?

Feeding is not required for bubble tips. I like to feed mine things like mysis and other similar frozen foods.

I would wait a couple weeks to ensure a good feeding response. Keep the morsels very small and see how they do.

Im glad this forum is started because I would like to ask a question that pertains to it. my rbta recently split due to a power head meeting...... literally looked like a slug moving around no mouth or tentacles but had a solid grip to a rock so I left it. It now has small string like tentacles but no mouth that I can see its been like this for about 2 months. My main question here is are the tentacles stringy due to it being malnourished or do you think its just due to developement and will eventually have a mouth. Thanks again for any input and im really not trying to hijack this thread.

True. Some very experienced reefers have lost otherwise very healthy nems after feeding silversides. The thought is bacterial contamination due to a supply chain that isn't up to food quality standards. Only feed human quality foods.
