ive Had my Rose BTA for a week now and it is lookin good and my pair of true percs are hosting it.

My LFS told me to feed it daily (as it only under 72 watts of PC light) therefore the feeding will make up for the lack of light (tank is a jbj nano cube BTW) but the only thing is since ive fed daily its
sent cyano algae crazy in my tank, can i cut down on feeding or is it essential i feed daily

Thanks

Elliott

I don't think it is wise to feed daily because of the amount of waste that will accumulate in the water. I feed mine once every 1.5 weeks. It tentacles lengthening is a good sign that it's hungry

What type of anemone do you have? I have had carpets, and when first placed in the tank, they have been known to move around for a bit until they get "settled." Also, do you have a clown for it? Sometimes the clown will get them settled sooner. Good luck with it...I find anemones so very fascinating! :)

colour up the anenome?

colour up the anenome?

my red haddoni went from drop dead gorgeous pink/red
to a much more faded colour....

any idea how to colour him back up?

he eats well and appears healthy in every other way...

Thanks
