What type of anemone is good for a 16 gallon nano? I have a tomato clown and a full cleaning crew at the present time.

Nanos present extra challenges for anemones. Go with the more tolerant specimens that don't exceed 6" diameter: Flower/Rock anemones and the larger version of S. tapetum(Maxi Carpets). Unfortunately, clowns do not typically choose them as homes.
fwiw: Tomato clowns easily reach 4"+ and will be out growing a 16g pretty soon.
fwiw2: If you were absolutely commited to clown and anemone only in the tank, you could try a BTA. Be prepared to remove anemone clones and I would recommend a smaller clown species long term.

If you want a Tomato clown with anemones, you need at least a 40 gallon. The bigger the tank the more stablility your water is. Anemones need stablility to do well and live. Most people don't realize anemones can live for "ever" essentially. They can live well past 100 years. Yet, we call anemones old-aged if they live past 10 years of age. A 16 gallon just can't provide the essential water chemistry for even the minimum requirements long term wise. Although, you can still keep some pretty cool corals in that nano of yours.
