Anemone from a LFS or Online

I've been keeping an eye on my lfs (which there is only 1 viable store in this area) as well as investigating online shops and wondering if it is a smart idea to order a bta (prefer greens) from an online shop or if I should just wait till I find a good one at my lfs.

Anyone have any success or horror stories about ordering online?
Should I try it, yes no?
Should I wait and get it from my lfs?

All suggestions and help are greatly appreciated.

im skeptical of ordering online. Ide say go with the LFS if they have what you want. OR have them order one for you. That way you can see it and make sure its healthy before you purchase it. Also its much less expensive. Ordering online you never really know what youre gonna get or what condition it will be in.

Nems are notorious for shipping poorly. Reference a similliar thread in this forum regarding the Divers Den. If you do choose to order online, be sure to use a reputable place with a guarentee. Maybe even call them to speak with someone directly. good luck.

How about asking in your local forum and seeing if someone has one that recently split? Captive raised anemones are always a good option.
