anemone help

ok guys bare with me i know this has been asked like a million times but i cant find the answer to my specific symptoms i recently purchased a carpet anemone for my 14 gallon bio-cube. looked like it had a bit wider mouth for a day or so assuming thats from the stress. but today it released this brown/maroon looking stuff from the mouth and the mouth closed up smaller. is this something i should be concerned about or is it just getting rid of waste. thanks kind of knew to the whole coral thing

Well for starters the aquarium is too small for a carpet anemone unless it's a mini maxi your referring to, secondly anemones are not corals. Now to address your question it might be zoox being expelled due to some stress. If you fed the anemone recently it could be waste but in my opinion I would think it is zoox
