I have a purple carpet anemone. I got two tomatoes clowns to go with it.But i dont even go close to it.They been in the tank for a week. what is wrong. Did I buy the wrong fish to go with the anemone.

Yeah that is the problem. The natural host for the tomato clowns is the E. quadricolor. aka bubble tip anemone.

What type of carpet do you have? S. haddoni, or S gigantea?

In addition to what Christina said/asked, a week isn't very long at all. In the past it has taken me over a month for my clowns (( at the time B&W O's )) to find their un-natural host LTA (Macrodactyla doreensis).

I dont no what kind it is . all I no that its. a carpet anemone. So th tomatoes clowns want work with the carpet anemone

Not saying that they won't ever be hosted by, it since it isn't a natural host it may take longer.

Can you get a picture of it? Would help in IDing it.

if you could take a pic of its underside that would help. Also a pic thats a little less blurry. However even though you say the lights are off it looks a little bleached to me

It is a Haddoni.

A Haddoni isn't a natural host for tomatoes, however that doesn't mean they won't be hosted by it. I have a pair of pink skunks that are hosted by a Haddoni, which isn't a natural combo.
