Anemone hosting clowns?

Quick Question. Anyone have luck with true perc clowns getting hosted in a S haddoni? I have heard mixed results online and it seems to be leaning towards they only will be hosted in a s gig..... Considering a S Haddoni as I know they are easier to keep than a gig, but I don't really want to if I won't have a chance of it hosting my clowns even if it is a chance, I want better odds.....:dance:

Of course you have a chance. Clowns can and have hosted in a frogspawn or a brain coral or other lps. I think you have a good chance that it will host in your haddonni it may not be its choice in the wild but when given the only choice it will find it to be a suitable home.

Well they do host my torch and wall hammer I have right now. I just wanted to double check before making a purchase that I had a chance as I think they will find interest in a anemone quickly as its a lot more surf/dive space than the torch and hammer.

Yeah and unfortunatley they can harrass a LPS to death because it wont extend its polyps. Good luck and post some pics when you get your nem.

My pair were hosting by my S. Haddoni within seconds -- the anemone wasn't even out of my hand before they went into it. Granted, they were hosted by an LTAs prior to this, and I removed the LTA the same day I put in the S. Haddoni.

Yeah my torch gets his butt kicked all the time by my larger clown and I feel bad for it. I'm hoping to get the anemone soon now that I feel a little better with chances of them getting into it. I think they will as they move around looking for better hosts all the time.

Also thank you for the pictures showing that they can host them, I just wanted to double check as I havn't seen them in photos at all before this one. I looked all over online....
