When I purchased the clown pair they were hosted to this anemone at the LFS, after a couple weeks my clowns were trying to host my magnet cleaner... so I decided to pick up the nem as well.

The store owner just said it was a long tentacle & to make a hole in the sand lined with rubble..... I don't think he likes this spot because he is trying to move & this worries me because of my corals.

I will add that when it has moved it is still gripping rubble in its foot. So maybe I need to add more, larger pieces?

It looks like a long tentacle anemone but they don't like rocks mine always prefer deep sand bed and then attach to the bottom of tank.

You can always use a cup or a mug to fill with sand and surround it with rocks to avoid doing a deep sand bed in the whole tank
