Anemone ID confirmation - Sold as doreensis, looks like BTA

Hello,

I purchased this anemone from the LFS. It was listed as a LTA (M. doreensis), however I think it might actually be a BTA. The tentacles corkscrew like a doreensis, however the column and bottom of the oral disk are 100% smooth. No veraculae that I can see. It is around 8 or 9 inches when fully expanded as the picture below shows.

What are your thoughts?

Despite the lack of veruccae, it looks 100% LTA, so that is what I would go with. I would be surprised to learn otherwise, as BTAs do not usually corkscrew, and I can't remember ever seeing one with lines across the oral disc like pictured.

Thanks. I was under the impression the veruccae where a defining characteristic of M. doreensis, hence my confusion.

I think it is a LTA also. We sure do have a lot of these anemones that does not have all the classic ID features of the species.
