Anemone ID?

I was at the tide pools today, it is spring low, so perfect for collecting. My husband found this chunk of dead sponge with some pretty turquoise zoas, so in the tank it went. Upon closer examination, the piece is covered in these small light turquoise anemones.
I cant release, theyve been in my tank with foreign pathogens. I cant give to a lfs, my permit allows collection, but only for my use.
My tank is too new, but I suppose I can either kill it or give it a chance. How do I give them the best shot? I kept a bta alive for years in my old tank, but that is a different animal.
They're an inch max, pale blue with white tentacles, with a striped body. Found in tide pools in the indian ocean, in kwazulu natal.
Bonus points for an ID of that awesome blue zoanthid (???) Colony.

Those are bad, they spread like crazy and will sting your other corals.

Yep. Might not be a aptasia but it's a pest anemone. I got some like that in Florida but they were a pink color. I went from 1 to around 100 in a year.

Just curious what makes you say this, other than size and number? I can chuck the piece I the compost,but do want to be sure. We have many indigenous species of small anemones.

If you like them, then take 1 or 2 and isolate them on a piece of rock in the sand.

ou can quarantine them and see how they behave. Aptasia can just spread all over with the water flow is just isolate them in a rock may or may not work.
