Anemone ID

I got this guy from my cousins three days ago. It is in the middle of my tank, and haven't moved at all since I placed it. Actually moved down just a little. Just wondering what it was, so I could figure our what special needs it has. Thanks!

I had a very similar anemone in the past. It's called Rainbow Bubble Tip anemone if I am not mistaken.

I honestly did not expect that lol. The mother that it split off of was only about 6" or so across, including the tentacles. And I always thought that the tentacles were lot smaller. Thanks for the ID!

Nice!! Mine looked just like that whin it was small great score, and I got mine almost the exact same way except it was my friends that split.

Thanks! I actually got two from my cousin. They're gorgeous! My Black Photon Clowns have each taken their own anemone. It's amazing to watch them host. One of the many rewarding things of having a reef tank One of the anemones must be expelling waste/water as he is deflated right now. Is it normal for them to be happy in the middle of the tank? I was hoping that they would like it where I put them, and I cranked up my LED's some more than they normally are. They haven't moved but a couple of inches in the week I've had them.
