Anemone ID?

Anemone ID anyone???

First thought it was a gigantea or mertens when I first noticed this nem, but the tentacles aren't right.

Can anyone ID this for me please?

The tentacles of this are similar to the mimic anemone. Check that thread and see what you think. IF it is it's a bleached one. I believe there is a link in that thread to some really good info on the mimic anemones. They have a very potent sting so be careful.

I don't think this is a mimic anemone, the tentacles are too short and too many.
Also the column looks more like a Stichodactyla species.

Any idea where this came from?

I don't see how this anemone is related in any way to Carpets. Can you tell me how you see this connection?

Heterodactyla sp. maybe the berry anemone Heterodactyla hemprichii. Hard to tell from pic.
