Anemone ID

A person on another forum posted this but they have no idea what kind it is or its requirements lol. Says it's 8-10 inches when open

 
Yep it looks like an Aurora. Aurora is sand dwelling anemone though. This one looks like on a rock.

Could have just been placed on a rock improperly, lots of times people just don't know they have a preference, but I agree, looks to be Aurora/beaded
 
It could be a H. malu also. One or the other. Once it settle in the sand and back to the non stressed level, we can tell which one it is.
 
Gotcha , appreciate it guys . Again not mine some guy on NJ Reefers. Never knew how you could buy an anemone not knowing what kind it is or its requirements.

A lot of people don't even know there are different nems or that they are all different from each other in characteristics or needs depending on species.

Malu's look kinda similar w/ the rings around tentacles, but when they look like beads on a string like that pretty typical of aurora, why they are also called beaded as a common name.
