Hey thanks, thats looking closer to anything anyone else has suggested, i've even heard a very small ricordia. It used to come out only at night so i kinda thought that might point to not being photosynthetic but now it stays out all the time. It does always have those balls on the tip like the club "anemones". Thanks for the lead, anyone else?

it might not be a good idea to try and get a proper ID of reef critters in the newbie forum.

Your critter might be an anemone (Telmactis spp.?)
or it might be a corallimorpharian (Corynactis or Pseudocorynactis spp.?)

In any case, it's not going to become invasive like Aiptasia or Majano and there's no reason to get rid of it.

but should i feed it at all? If its not bad i do want it to be healthy! It's sure not particularly beautiful like the orange tips or those strawberries ive found pics of. Is there any chance it could be changing colors in the future?

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I would say there is a remote chance this anemone will color up much, but you'll only find out for sure if you grow it out.
