I saw this little guy cruising in my tank a few nights ago and just got a chance to snap some pictures of it, Must have hitched in quite a while ago as I haven't added anything in 6 months. He has been moving downward in my tank in the last 2 days. It has a large convex red-brown and white disc with small white feathery tentacles. Any ideas what it is?
here are some crops to show some more detail of the tentacles
Another hitchhiker I have had for about 18 months is this anemone, This guy has a green mouth, a purple oral disc and green tentacles with pink tips. Rarely when you can see his foot it is purple with streaks of flourescent green. I was thinking it could be a juvenile Anemonia viridis for the colouring but the tentacles are much too short. It could also just be a juvenile Heteractis crispa, I haven't personally seen any this small, 2.5" across the oral disc.
