Anemone in fish only

I have had a fish only tank and am contemplating adding a simple anemone if it is possible for it to cohabitate with the fish in my tank. (See my signature for the fish in my tank and add 3 lyretail anthias and a pair of blotchy anthias). i would just want to add something simple but before I truly consider adding an anemone I wanted to check here first for any concerns or recommendations from this group. Please let me know your thoughts and if they can cohabitate what you would recommend that may work.

Thanks

I've kept rock anemones in the past and they seem to be pretty hardy. Are your nitrates reasonable? Most anemones need lower nitrates to keep long term. Since most anemones sting predators, I don't think you'd need to worry about most of your fish list bothering it.

Thanks
Great there too - I have 4 vegas in my 280g. Although how many hrs should they be on daily and at what strength?

Definitely plenty of light, 6-12 hours a day. I would dim them down significantly (20-30%), and ramp them up to the desired level over the course of a couple weeks.

What type of anemone are you considering?

I am an open book open to suggestions. I would prefer something cool looking and that is easy to maintain. Just toying with the idea but I figured I would post here first to get this feedback.
I currently have my lights on at that level and for six hours daily with a 30 minute ramp up and down time. Thanks.

I'd try a condy they have a nasty sting and seem to be bulletproof as far as nems go. Mines been through hell and back over the last year and has continued to grow the whole time

Was considering a BTA
What different do you have to do as opposed to just having the fish only tank? What and how do you feel it? Thanks.

I have a RBTA. The only thing about those, they move around quite a bit. I give random types of food to my RBTA from mysis to pellets by target feeding with a long piece of pvc once a week.

Thanks for all the input
I picked up a large green/white carpet anemone today and think I am picking up a red bubble tip anemone tomorrow. Although I am still contemplating a long tentacle anemone. Thoughts between the red bubble or long tentacle? Or easy to have all 3 in a 280g?
Thx

Thanks. Water parameters are very clean and I have four they got lights on my tank so I am good there too. I know the carpet anemones are a little more difficult so we will see what happens. All good so far but only 1 day....

Don't get a condi they move like no tomarro and if you plan on clowns hosting they won't except on rare occasions they have a strong sting

Thanks- no plans on a condi
I am going to give it some time to see how the carpet does and then add a rose bubble tip.
