My anemone has jumped from its rock! i dont know where it is. When should i start worrying if i cant find it? its about 2 inches and he moved last night.
Ewll they do not usually "jump" but rather slowly slide "crawl" looking for a better place. They will usually try to find a crevice that provides protection to their foot while receiving low to low-medium flow and lots of light.
Unless the flow is to high everywhere or it fell rather than move due to sickness you will eventually see it coming up to look for light. Murphy usually hits and it happens most of the time that the place they like is not the one you like or one were she might pose trouble for your most priced coral.
Must be one of those Ninja anemones!LOL
Time to worry, yesterday!
Make sure all intakes are covered well.
You could give some specs on tank to see if it ready/suitable for nem.
I'd get a flashlight and seek it out.
