Anemone Mouth Question

I have had this anemone for about 6 months. It has been in the current tank for 3 months. The system is well established (10 months old) and the parameters are all in check. I test for SG 1.024, PH 8.1, amonia 0, trites 0, trates 0, calcium 380, dkh 8. I keep a steady temperature of 78.

I recieved this anemone when I bought a 55 gallon from a fellow reefer. He sold me his complete setup. After transporting it and setting it up again the anemone looked great. 3 months later I moved him to his current home and his mouth began to look like it currently looks. Below is a picture. Any thoughts on what is going on with his mouth. Is this normal. He acts healthy. He eats, moved to his current spot, and is extremely sticky to the point if I accidently brush him, I am not getting free. I would like to find him a new home but I wanted to figure out what is up with him first.

The previous owner fed him a lot more. I try to feed him only twice a week.

In this picture he is eating, otherwise his mouth is tightly shut.

Your first post: "In this picture he is eating, otherwise his mouth is tightly shut."

Your second post: "Yeah, but his mouth is ussually the bulge like it is even when it is not eating."

If it is usually tightly shut as your first post says, that's normal. If it bulges most of the time, that isn't normal, but since it sounds to be in good health, I wouldn't worry too much. Is your water in good shape? Has it grown?

IMHO/IME, that doesn't look too good. The animal doesn't look in the best shape, overall, not just the mouth. It seems to be somewhat contracted, too. I would keep an eye on it, but it seems like an ailing specimen to me.
