Anemone moving

My new carpet anemone decided to face the back of the tank. I don't know what irritated him but now his mouth faces the back of the tank. I needed to go in the tank and do my aqua scape all over again because I traded for it. And when I was taking out the fish in the trade I destroyed all of my rock work. What should I do with the anemone. This is my first one I've ever had that moved. I had a sebae about a year ago and it never moved.

Thanks in advance for all of your input and advice.

I've never had my anemone move on me and I have a powerhead facing towards it. It is a BTA, but I don't know if that would matter.

What species of "carpet" do you have? You have to know this before you can set up the environment to keep it happy in one spot.

I'm talking about a powerhead pointing right at it close to make it deflate / move. Not a gentle flow..

It's a green carpet anemone. And now it has retracted and is hanging out in the same spot. Just very retracted.

Color doesn't tell what species your is --- any change of getting a pic?

Or, does it look at all like this one?

My nem goes through different stages, it will stay in one spot for 4/5 months then it will start to have a little wonder around. I dont know if they get bored of staying in the same place. Just make sure your pump is nem proof and cant get into the pump else this could wreck your tank!

I have a maxi-jet 1200 power head. It has a little attachment on it where the water is sucked up into the power head with a screen of sorts. Let water in but nothing large. Sometimes it will get covered with some macro from my fuge if some of it happens to make it to the display but I keep it clear of debris for the most part.

Is that one nem proof?

I redid the aqua scape and the anemone seems to like it's new spot. It hasn't turned bright green yet but with the clowns messing with it the pictures show what it usually looks like. So, what kind of anemone is it? And should I be worried about the anemone hosting it's own funeral?

From what I posted in your other thread,

Not 100% certain, but pretty sure that you have an S. Haddoni. I would keep a close eye on it, I wouldn't be surprised if that maroon started causing it issues. And if the other clowns starts to be hosted by it.....

Would like to see that anemone get at least twice as big before hosting clowns of that size.
