Anemone not eating.....

Hi everybody I acquired this anemone 3+ weeks ago..... *seems* to be doing good, my question is, I have not tried to feed it, as it seems to grab onto the mysis I feed the tank, and the few pellets that it catches. They are supposed to close up on itself to feed don't they? Any other I have seen does, am I missing something? I'm attaching a picture for reference, excuse the fact it may be a bit hazy, I just cleaned the glass and may have tossed up unwanted things into the water column. And the fact that the pic is taken with Iphone, the colour is much brighter than actual. Thanks for any advice

That is pellets he is holding onto, and he is sticky as anything, accidentally grazed him with the back of my arm and it was an exercise in patience getting him to let go, my husband had quite the laugh at me. [emoji3]

That is a Haddoni Carpet. He need a sand bed to bury his foot in. 3+ inches would be optima.
Feed him small bits of fish about pencil eraser size, one or two every 3-4 days if you want for him to grow. Put the food close to the mouth and he should use his tentacles to bring the food to the mouth. Clean water, bright light and not too much current.

Excellent! Thanks. Funny when I put him in the tank he clung onto a rock, not sure if I can move him now, I will try. Thanks again!

Sometime Baby Haddoni will stay on rock until they get larger. Your is bleached and is small. He will climb down to the sand eventually.
