Anemone ok but not connecting?

My anemone just kinda hangs out in the corner and seems to sorta float there. Occasionally it will stick to the wall but often times it will just be sitting on the ground in the corner. The top part seems to be opening fine these days so I'm wondering if it just needs more time or something?

Here are pics:

If that is a sebae anemone you need to get it off the sand (every one I have had that was on the sand for more than six weeks ended up dying - but several that I place in rocks have lasted for years). Try carefully placing the foot between two rocks - but be very careful not to tear the foot or it is a goner. Make certain it is in a spot with good water movement. Leave enough room between the rocks so it can "crawl" out if it decides to move.

that looks like a bleached out LTA. Its not good that its just floating around. need more tanks specs and age of tank

The column on the anemone indicates it is H. crispa; Leathery Anemone, LTA, Sebae, etc.

Most prefer to have the column buried in sand with the foot attached to a solid substrate, rock is fine. Some will definitely choose a rocky cave instead of sand.

At this point, the anemone should have it's column protected. If you don't have a sand bed, there are some pictures of using a tuperware dish in my gallery.

Good luck.
