Anemone/perculas for a 10 gal?

Ok I know this might have been answered before but I did a search and can't find it. Is it possible to keep a small anemone with a pair of perculas in a 10 gal tank if they are the main display in the tank? If so which one? a small mini carpet? BTA? I did some reading and it seems that carpet, purple base, lta, and magnificient anemones will host perculas but seems they all get too big. I know you can keep some carpets in small tanks but would like some advice. What would be the lighting requirement? I read somewhere that using pc lights will work if they are close to the surface. I have a 18" Nova Extreme 36W light on the 10 gal. Is that enough?

No species of hosting anemone would do well in a 10 gallon aquarium. Is it possible; sure, but it certainly is not advisable. All of the hosting carpet anemones get way too large for a 10 gallon aquarium, and the same goes for Macrodactyla doreensis, and ritteri anemones.
If you really wanted an anemone get a rock anemone or mini carpet as they would do well in a tank that size, but be aware they do not host clownfishes.

They might do well when they're still small but not recommended because they will outgrow your tank. As for lighting 36W is barely enough for a 10g because there not not depth.

Ok, so even if I do get a mini carpet (even it will not host them)my lighting is not good. what about if I use this light, can I keep it the mini carpet happy?:

I think I read somewhere that it is possible that colt corals could do that, but would like some input from current owners of this symbiotic set up. Thanks

Mini carpets do not need much light. the light that you have would do fine.

Torches/frogspawn/hammers. Maybe some frilly mushrooms. Toadstool leather.

I have seen a flower anemone host a pair of percs,but most of the time clowns won't go to a flower anemone.The smallest tank I would do for a hosting anemone would be a 34 gallon.

I have 2 clowns in my 20 head Duncan. the Duncan didn't like it for the first week, but has done fine since. I think a BTA will do Ok for a little while.

I just tried this last week, I was doing some cleaning in my main tank. I put a Koralia and a heater in the opposite side of the tank, (10G)
I came back from work, And sadly my LTBA was completely shredded and burned, $100 in the garbage. I had this LTBA for 3 years, Very stupid in my part.

I'm doing the exact same thing with a ten gallon that I plan to take to college. I have the exact same nova extreme light too. =) My clowns host a frogspawn, which to the untrained eye aesthetically looks like a nem. Why not try that?
