anemone present when clownfish breeding?

I have a pair of Clarkii spawning now, and they host in a Haddon's anemone. I think the anemone can give a pair a sense of security, and may help SOME reluctant pairs spawn. I know for commercial breeding, bare tanks with pots or tiles is the norm, mainly for ease of cleaning, but I like to watch the relationship between the fish and nem. So, clowns will breed with or without an anemone, I think either way it is important have well conditioned clowns on a regular day/night cycle that are comfortable with their surroundings.

Lots of people do as their spawning clowns are in their reef tanks. They are not required, I don't have any anemones with any of my clowns, just another animal to keep alive.

Totally unnecessary for common species, just an added expense and more work. Now I might consider it for rare/ uncommon clowns known to be reluctant spawners in captivity, but certainly not for the "standard" species we raise. For example my partner just orderd 5 young chrysopterous which will be housed in a 60 gallon anemone tank and left to mature and do as they will, it's an experiment. Another friend with a 125 reef had great success with pink skunks associated with a huge LTA, and yet another fellow has nigripes spawning regularly in an anemone but I forget the species.
