Anemone proof my drain

I've got a 1 1/2" drain for my close loop, I have this

on my drain. How do I anemone proof that drain since anemones get sucked up in powerheads, I think is also poses a similar danger to them.

You can use a prefilter sponge. I got one with my Mag7 pump. You can probably get one as a replacement.
