There is a thread about clowns biting their owners in the Anemone and clown forum you might enjoy :D

I also have a condy that has been in the tank for a couple years, put a clown in about 6 months ago, and within 2 days they were best friends forever!!!!!! He does get pretty territorial now though

This is what i wish to do to her sometimes. :blown:

it Hurts ... GRRR...
And she comes after me no matter where in the tank i put my hand. even cleaning a wave pump or the over flow box. I can Flick her with my finger and she only comes after me worse.it takes two people to work in there. One to keep her away with a net or scrubber pad the other to do the work. She does not bother my Better half Bonnie. Just me...

My last maroon would draw blood every time
I learned a cool trick that stopped it.
I noticed when I wore my stainless dive watch she would hit her reflection in the watch instead of me.
Putting on that watch became regular maintenance preperation.
Anything shiny will work, and you'll actually get used her hitting that and it makes tank work pain free.

You have all been a huge help, and I have learned now that I should wait a few more months before getting any coral or anemone (only bubble tip if I do). This is one of the best hobbies I've ever found, hopefully I can compete with some of your amazing tanks one day!

You are probably fine for corals at this time, especially softies, anemone's are a bit more sensitive to water params, harder to grow sps corals need very clean and stable conditions.
