Anemone Question

Has anyone ever had problems with Anemone stinging your chalices, acans, sps? Im thinking about getting a rbta anemone but im scared if it will sting my expensive chalices, ect.

They will sting just about anything, including chalices and Acanthastrea. If you get an anemone, you'll have to be mindful of its location and proximity to corals. They are fully motile, so you must also be careful of that, as well.

Early on, I had a wandering BTA kill several healthy colonies of SPS. I wouldn't recommend putting one on the same pile of rock with anything that you can't move out of the way. They only way to be relatively safe is to build a separate rock tower that does not touch anything but sand - not other rocks, not the side walls of your tank, etc. Unless the anemone is so unhappy that it releases and floats in the current (which they will do in the rare event that they absolutely cannot find a place to get comfortable) it will stay on the rock pile and can't wander off.

So would it just be better to not bet one? Will Clowns take to any other corals as if were an anemone/
