I would shade him so he'd want to move toward the light. No physical damage to him and if you could get him in a place where he'd want to move onto the glass thats a nice easy area to remove them from.
Unfortunately, I want him totally off the rock, not just moving to another aiptaisia-infected rock...I've tried everything except the ice trick...that'll be next...
That's right Amanda...right now I'm going to try and kill the few aiptaisa on the rock...I've got him and the clowns in my QT so I can be patient and make sure the pests are truly gone..
The ice will most likely work for you. If not the dremel will lol. I have used the dremel method with mushrooms before. You don't need a diamond bit, just a normal cutting wheel will work just fine. Cuts truough rock like butter.
