Anemone Rescue Success

Gig 'em

New member
At the beginning of the summer I had a small RBTA that was completely bleached, had no tentacles, and was the size of a quarter to a silver dollar. I put it in my 55 gallon with T5 lights and patiently gave it some TLC and light feedings. Now it has it's color back and is growing larger with more tentacles. It's a long trek, but worth it. I just wanted to share a success story as a break from all the emergency threads. Sorry I don't have any pics of it when it was bleached.

Looking good. I got a bleach white gbta from a LFS about 2 years ago. TLC got it back in good health. Good job
.
side note: Those white things, above the bta, what are they? I have a boat load of them behind my carpet and always wondered what they were.

Heres mine.

Right before I sold it (( about a year after I first got it )), there is a purple LTA in there too,

Thanks. Loved the purple one too (( sold that one too )). One day I will do LTAs again -- when/if I set up another tank.
