Anemone shrinkage?

So I got this little rose anemone last week and seem to be doing ok.
my tanks seems pretty stable and I have always wanted an anemone.
It's 1.5 yrs old. All my soft corals shrink up at night and was
curious to know if anemones shrink up at night also?
Pretty little guy, about 2" diameter.
My clowns love their softy, even when it shrinks up at night. Lol

NIIICE RBTA & clowns! Nems shrink a bit at night; that's just what they do. Yours is still acclimating too, so it may hide awhile. Has it attached under that rock? They like to have their foot in the rockwork. What lighting do u have & how long is it on each day/evng? Good luck!

Thanks, I have a hydra 26 and it's on about 8 hrs a day and it dims down to 3%

It is attached to the over hang, Hasn't moved since it found that spot. lol

How long do they usually tame to acclimate approximately?

Agreed.
It does look like it is still acclimating to the light especially since it is at the bottom the farthest point from the light. It previously most likely was kept in a lower light environment. I find BTA's actually have a harder time acclimating to higher light levels than some other anemones even though BTA's are much more hardy.

Well he's doing really good now. He has deflated only once in the last 3-4 days and it was only for about an hour. Even at night he stays open.
The little clown started bringing it food and visits it often but always goes back to the the softy.
I have had read that they will bring food to the anemone, But it blew me away when I saw it.
Pretty cool. :)
Thanks for the advice.
