BE CAREFUL WITH THAT OIL FRAGRANCE NEAR THE TANK!!! (If that's what that is)

I have a friend that claimed one of those moved into the room wiped his tank out. Just thought I should warn you.

Thanks a lot for the concern.

It has been next to the tank since January, and so far so good. But, if something seems out of the ordinary I will move it.

Hey Torrdex,

I got a small 5 inch red carpet from a LFS last Thursday and I'm afraid that it's not doing to well. When I first got it it was nice and healthy, the mouth was closed tight and when I was drip acclimating it it attched very well to the bucket and was open up nicely. Then I put it into my main tank where I dug a whole in my 4 inch sand bed and it seem to be doing well until the next night when it moved almost into a cave area, I had to move it out and reposition it so it would not get lost in the cave where the water flow was going to push it too. Now it in a better spot where the flow will pass it but it still gets deflated and the mouth opens up every so often. I have a felling that my 250W 20k MH was too much for it so I put up egg crates so I could acclimate it to the light better. My water parms are
Sal. 1.025
cal. 440
Akc. 9
Amm . is slightly there .2
I turned down the flow of my water ever since I put it in. I will try to take some pictures of it when I get home. I just hope I didn't stress it out too much by moving it again. Any help would be good, cause I don't want to loose it.

Back to your original Questions some others signs of ill health
are daily collapsing (except BTA's), mesenterial filaments visible from the mouth or a hole on the foot/column and constant movement ( all my BTA's settled more or less when they were thriving).
thanks
