Anemone similar to Condylactis

I've had a Condy for several years now with very good luck. It was sick and bleached white when I bought it thinking that it was supposed to look that way. After a month or two in my tank it was completely brown with bright pink/purple tips and had expanded to over double its purchase size. I've never had any bad experiences with the condy. it never walks around, and has never eaten a tank mate.

Since i've had such good luck with the Condy I would like to try another similar anemone with more color. Is there an anemone with a similar shape to the condy with just more color/'s?

There are several colors in the condys, but I don't know of any thing else other than long tentacles that resemble condys. Maybe some one else will know.

I wouldn't mind to have another condy if I could find one in a color other than white/brown with pink/purple tips. Any clue where to find such an animal?

I have had pink ones with purple tips before. Just got one that was mainly purple with pink tips. It stayed out and looked great for a few days and then it moved one night and I can't see it now. I don't know why they go under the rocks.

How big is your tank? That will determine if you can house another anemone. What kind of lighting do you have?

I agree tank size might matter.
They do have a stronger sting than host nems, so keep in mind you are basically adding another potential land mine for your fish to wander into

If you want color in an anemone, consider getting a rock or rock flower anemone. I have a number of them I got from VIP Reefs in Miami (they have a website). They look really good under white light and they are completely crazy under blue light!
