How common is it for an anemone to split? I have had this particular GBTA for over a year, and it has spli twice on me, both times the offspring does fine. is there anything to worry about, or is this just a way of it to reproduce. It has been in the same spot for over six months.

Splits are usually caused by some sort of stress. It is common, and the amount of stress does not always have to be a lot to make them split. It can be as simple as changing the bulbs that can induce a split.

My RBTAs seem quite healthy, and split every couple months. Its nice because people want them, but its a PITA because they stretch to the light and mess with my corals, and they're very difficult to get out without taking the surrounding rockwork out.

My RBTA has also split on several occasions. I've never known anything to induce the fact that it does split... It just seems to do so every 6 months..:)
