anemone splitting...or not!

ok so I have this large BTA that i have had for over a month and it is doing very well so far. Well about 3 weeks ago it starting splitting so thought. It split half way (from the center of the mouth all the way out). For about a week it was like it was two where one would close up while the other stayed open then the other would close...if that made any sence. It stayed half split for a couple of weeks and I noticed that the split grew back together! What is that? Now it is one big anemone again. Any idea of what happened?

I could be that it was not slpitting, could have just had a gaping mouth. Something must be bothering it. Gaping mouth is a bad sign but it is tight now so that is good. I is newish so I'd do some testing. go to wetwebmedia.com, search bta's you'll find info there.
