Anemone won't settle in LS

What is the time frame for a pink anemone to settle into the live sand base? Should I turn off the powerheads to let him adjust better? This is my first one.

That is a long tentacle anemone or M. doreensis. Dig a hole in the sand at the base of a rock. Place the anemone in the hole, and gently back fill it until nothing but the oral disk is showing.

That is a LTA that is in poor shape. It is a sand anemone that do not require very high flow, but high light is needed. Goodluck with it.
