Hello everyone. I have several questions regarding the health of my Anemone. When I first got him he was a nice green color and after a month and a half he has turned to a brownish /greenish color. I have posted this picture of how he used to look like.

I realy don’t know what’s going on.

He has a tomato clown. He eats when he's fed. The tank is really stable. It also has a cycle of light of 12-12 2X64 power com. and 10 hours of 150w (metal halide 10,000k). Does anyone have some insight as to what’s going on with this Anemone? Thank you very much, and hope to hear from you soon.

sounds like you are treating your anemone good and it is getting healthy :)

anemones have zoolanthee (sp) that live inside of it. the anemone you have pictured looks bleached.. could have died
so the brown tan color is a great thing

My thoughts exactly. If it's developing color, then your chances of keeping it alive have improved dramatically.

Your Zooxanthellae algae is proliferating a lot. When I first got my Condy it was bleached too but after the first week it got a dark brown.

Thanks. i have another question. Why are the tenticles more stretched out than when i first got it. Is that normal? When i first got it they were more bubble shaped. Hope to hear from you all soon.
