can you have several anemones in the same tank? i know you aren't supposed to mix species, but what if i have a Green BTA and a Rose BTA?

The same species won't matter (( assuming have the room, and water quality stays in check )).
I currently have 2 Haddonis in one tank, and 2 others in another tank. In the past I have kept 2 LTAs together --- even touching. And always had about 10 BTAs (( different color morphs )) in the same tank.
