Anemones Lighting ???

I am running 400 Watt M/h . What spectrum do they prefer. Looking to change over from SPS to anemones. Also how long of a lighting period. The tank is a 180 .

how many watts per gallon do you have on your 180. and they like 12 on and 12 off.

I have three 400 watt M/H over the tank.

Do they like 10 K - 20 K

most like the 10k it up to you. and with 6 watts per gallon you can do a carpet anemone. but do a long tentecal.

You can keep anything in that tank with that kind of lighting. I prefer 14k more as they are a bluish white and I dont really need atinics. But 10k are white, 14k are whitish blue, and 20k are bluish. It depends on you really. With a 10k corals get better health and grow faster meanwhile a 14k and a 20k have slower growth but more color . I think a period of 12/12 atinic(IF you have them) and 8 hours of MH would be good. 12 seems too long for MH, JMO.
