Anemones like clownfish?

Lol dumb question.. Do anemones like when clownfish host them? Or does it stress them?
I'm dealing with a BTA acclimating to my tank, when it came in the mail it was bleached, and had its mouth open. I put it in the tank etc. Three days ago // I have another post about it in the anemone forum if you wanted to see pics//

But I've been keeping my clownfish away from it for the time being, but would that help a nem acclimate? ( someone at my Lfs told me to let them host it and it would help, but It seems kinda stressful to have a fish rolling around on it)

And my clowns are false perculas ^^

it depends on the clown. some are overly aggressive and will be very rough and others will be gentle and do whats reffered to as the wiggle dance where they wiggle there body in the anemone which in turn provided the anemone with more oxygen.

If your anemone is at least 3-4x the size of your clowns it's normally not an issue, but you might block the nem off from clown until it settles and attach's, a strawberry basket or similar could work.
If your nem is bleached mysis is best for bringing back to health.

It is about 5 inches all around, all 3 of my clowns are about 1 1/2 inches. They havent discovered it yet and I'm not pushing or trying to make them yet.

The nem came in the mail in pretty bad shape. Bleached, mouth open, barely any water. I've atempted to give it mysis but it's mouth hasn't closed yet// it looks funky and I think my clowns would just upset it more.

Well if it has just arrived leave it be for a bit before even trying to spot feed or anything, wait a few days/week.
Clown species should be matched to nem species that they would normally be hosted by in the wild for best results, if not they may ignore completely.
3 is usually a crowd w/ clowns, I'd only keep a pair unless you go w/ group from same clutch.
Nems are usually shipped w/ little or no water, this is very common.

Yeah, i figured it wasn't hungry, after they floated away lol. Ive just been worried about the whole thing lol people say they are picky and can die in an instant and others say it will be fine XD
I'm not intent with them hosting the nem ( that's not why I got it, I just really like BTAs lol) but if they end up doing it, then it would be a double win.

I'm planning on moving the 3rd one once I get another to my 30 gal so it would be 2 pairs, separate tanks. My experience with clowns has always been pretty good, are they really aggressive?

Usually the game changes when they mature and pair up.
Pics would help, as well as tank specs/params

Ah, I see. I'll have to move one to my 30gal then lol

I use the little strips, cheap-o tests,

Salinity = 1.26-1.24 never higer or lower, only because evaporation, but currently at 1.26

Ammonia = 0
Nitrates = 5> ( between 0-20 on strips but barely darker than the 0 mark)
Nitrites = 0
Hardness = 300<
KH = 300~
PH = 8.2

And I recently had it tested at my Lfs for calcium and mag. And they said it was perfect, the day I got the nem.

There's some color, doesn't look that bad, it should come back, just leave alone a couple days and then mysis gently blown towards it, let it do it's thing.

I personally kind of like the color, and it's mouth closed more since that pic, I think my powerhead was on a lower setting.
( every time it unplugs it changes )
