Anyone have any success with anemones using Powercompacts? I just read on aquacon's web site, "Make sure the tank has Powercompacts, VHO's or Halides for success." Ive always ran Mh over my tanks, thinking of going Led. Just curious to know, post pictures and the kind of Anemones you have under power compact lighting.

I wouldn't take any advice offered by Aquacon. That company has a really bad reputation in the industry.

Their info just hasn't been updated. Who would recommend PC bulbs at all when there are so many better options.

To answer your question. I have kept BTAs, haddoni and H. crispa under PC lights with great success (all between 5 and 17 years). Since I also kept anemones before there were PC or T5s, I have also kept the above anemones under normal output fluorescents with equal success.
