Angel Reef

Glad to see things are heading in the right direction Ryan  What is that blue beauty ?

thanks champ. Its a blue staghorn i got from someone shutting down their tank a few months ago, he got it from a frag off one my mates years ago.

Hey ryan that's a huge transformation compared to the previous pic:inlove:
Guess you are doing something right bud:beer:
And if that's not testing for n and p then leave tests in the cabinet......even though i have to confess that i'm really curious to see where they are:)

thanks, you know what i have done... nothing. took the pellets offline, everyone in aus using these has had HUGE issues, besides that i do a 60L water change weekly.

yes i too am curious of N & P, i dont usually test this but might tonight.

Wow. Nice!
Very natural looking. I really love the groupings.
So jealous of the length of your tank!
Yeah, welcome to the nuisance alge club!!

thanks, took me a while (months) to decide where to place the corals.

the algae is crap but hopefully gone soon, happened when i took the pellets offline.

Ryan tank looks really nice mate:beer:
Love how you have placed the corals.
That algea issue happened to me also when i removed the pellets but with some gfo,wet skimming for a while and some regular WC's things were better in a couple of months.

thanks mate, the algae sure is ugly, i am trying to run this tank with nothing but a skimmer and carbon when i add or cut corals. see if this works out otherwise will look at adding either rowa or brightwell pellets.

Tank is looking good matey. How are the acro colours compared to the ATI you have before?

cheers buddy, it wouldnt really be comparing apples with apples with lighting as previously i was using zeovit and now i have no P or N absorbers just a skimmer
